The meeting of the The Filipino American Society of Architects and Engineers (FASAE) Board of Directors is held every 3rd Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Contra Costa Water District in Concord, unless the venue is changed by the incumbent national president for a pragmatic reason.
The meeting is presided over by its board chairman. The meeting agenda is submitted in advance by the president to the directors via email for review/comments.
Mission—Vision—Values of the Filipino American Society of Architects and Engineers
Mission Statement The Society shall promote the personal and professional growth and development of its members in order to achieve a better quality of life for themselves, their families, and communities.
Vision The Society shall continually expand the consciousness of each member in a collaborative environment by creating a network of resources to provide the necessary focus and energy to accomplish his mission in life.
Shared Values
Integrity and Trust – Our words and actions shall be our sacred bond. We keep our word and honor our commitments.
Individual Worth and Diversity – We recognize the individual worth and value the contributions of each person. We strive for harmony from the convergence of differing view points and diverse experiences.
Personal Accountability – We accept responsibility for our thoughts, words, and actions to achieve integrity and trust. We establish qualitative and quantitative performance indicators to measure our personal accountability over our stewardship.

The Society’s Intended Outcomes:
1. The members have improved written and verbal communication skills.
2. The members have better understanding of their respective professions.
3. The members have acquired their state professional license.
4. The members assume moral and ethical leadership roles in their neighborhood and business or work environment.
5. The members shall adopt a dynamic 5-Year Plan to strengthen the membership.
The Society’s Five Year Plan
In 5 years, this Society shall have increased the confidence of its members that result from the sharing and taking action on the integration of information and experiences. Their knowledge, abilities, and skills of each member will have been enhanced such that they achieve higher levels of responsibility and business success. Their awareness of the mission, vision, and values of self, family, and community shall have resulted in an improved quality of life -- physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.
1st Year: Define necessary functions, programs, resources, and individuals that can guide the effort
2nd Year: Conducting workshops and seminars, and collaborating in training programs, continuing eduction courses and activities
3rd Year: Fine tuning of programs in areas of greatest interest and needs
4th Year: Expanding the programs to outreach other population centers that will benefit from them
5th Year: Recognizing the achievements of members in their personal life and professional career. Validate the mission, vision and values of the Society
The Society’s Programs:
The Society shall focus on the following four programs offered to its members:
1. Personal and professional development a. Board review and licensing b. Toastmaster’s Club c. Report Writing Workshops d. Leadership and Project Management Workshop e. Manager’s Communication Workshop f. Continuing Education
2. Lifestyle improvement to develop body, mind, and spirit a. Sporting Events: Golf, bowling, tennis, chess, billiards, poker b. Mountain climbing c. Water and winter sports
3. Cultural refinement a. Heritage events preserving traditional values – food, dance, language, fashion b. Family values
4. Transitional activities a. Into higher levels of learning (college) b. Into the work force c. Into retirement

The Filipino American Society of Architects and Engineers (FASAE) was organized in 1976 by Lucio Raymundo, a resident of San Franicsco and an alumnus of the University of the Philippines.
Joe Aliling is the incumbent president for 2012-13. Phil dela Cruz is the vice president and, concurrently, the president-elect for 2013-14. Roxanne Coronel is executive secretary. Rodson Clavel is corporate secretary. Ric Sitjar is corporate treasurer. Sabrina Atienza is newsletter editor and webmaster. Isagani Pugao is PRO. Linda Florendo is auditor.
The Society promotes the personal and professional growth and development of its members in order to achieve a better quality of life for themselves, their families, and their respective communities.
The Society shall continue to expand the consciousness of individuals with regard to their potentials by establishing a network of successful persons that shall serve as resources to those who are validating their career paths and exploring the best options to reach their long-term goals.
The regular monthly meetings of the FASAE Board of Directors is scheduled every 3rd Saturday (1:00-3:00 p.m.) at the Contra Costa County Water District (CCCWD) in Concord CA 94520, unless the meeting venue is changed by the president.
The next annual convention will be held on June 15, 2013 at the CCCWD in Concord, CA. The installation of new officers will be held on July 20, 2013; and the venue will be chosen by the president-elect, Phil dela Cruz. For inquiries and other details, kindly send your email to fasae2012@yahoo.com
